We must appreciate their unique paths, their journeys, their failures, their struggles, and their triumphs. We must heed their advice and understand their motivations and inspirations, so that we in turn can motivate and inspire others to join this movement. We must learn why they teach.

I appreciate the effort involved on this page and applaud these men for getting into a feminine dominated field. I just don’t see why it’s Only Black Men. Why not all men. We all have unique stories and backgrounds that have and continue to influence our classrooms. Not just black, include white, latino, asian, whomever. But include all the proud and honest male teachers out there.
